U.S. Attorney for Colorado Bob Troyer latest keynote speaker to be announced at Cyber: Secured Forum focusing on cyber threats and cybercrime

U.S. Attorney for Colorado Bob Troyer is the latest keynote speaker to be announced at Colorado’s Cyber: Secured Forum focusing on cyber threats, cybercrime and national security. 

Taking place from June 4-6 in Denver, the Cyber: Secured Forum will include discussion from U.S. Attorney for Colorado Bob Troyer and Judy Smith, chief of the Colorado U.S. Attorney’s Office’s Cybercrime and National Security Section, both of whom will address the national cyber threat landscape, including lesser-known cyber threats.

Troyer and Smith will be amongst a number of key speakers attending the event, and will be discussing the motivation behind the creation of the office’s Cybercrime and National Security Section and provide insight into how the office can assist private and government partners.

The Cyber:Secured Forum event consists of two-days of in-depth content on cyber security trends and best practice in methods to prevent cybercrime, and has been specially developed by education teams from SIA and PSA Security Network.

Casey Ellis, Founder & CTO – Bugcrowd, Greg Otto, Managing Editor – CyberScoop, and Dr. Thomas Roth, Electronics Engineer – NIST Smart Grid & Cyber-Physical Systems Program Office
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), will also speak at the event.

Amongst the main topics to be addressed are Cutting-edge Strategies for Cyber-Hardening of Security Systems, Global Cybercrime Trends, New Standards for Cybersecurity Assurance​ and New Tools and Technologies for Better Cybersecurity of Physical Security Systems.
