Fidelity announces new Managing Director

Integrated security and fire alarm system specialists, Fidelity Integrated Systems Limited, has announced the appointment of Ken Kay as the company’s Managing Director.

The appointment allows Fidelity to continue to enhance its range of security and fire alarm system services in support of their clients’ businesses, while embracing leading edge technology and delivering continued growth in the business. Fidelity’s core offering has always been the ability to integrate system design, installation and maintenance into a seamless package, and retaining and developing this is at the heart of Ken’s brief.

Since joining Fidelity in October 2009, Ken has excelled within his role as Sales Director, helping to develop an expanding client base, leading to the hiring of new employees and the delivery of a growing range of services to existing clients.

“Ken taking the reins of the day-to-day running of Fidelity marks a new stage in the company’s development,” says founder Andy Atkinson. “We’ve come a long way in the last 14 years, and I’m delighted that we have found a Managing Director of Ken’s calibre to take us to the next level.”

Ken has more than thirty years experience working within the security systems industry, both client side and engineering. Ken joined Fidelity from his previous position as UK Sales Manager of Universal Security Systems, having previously worked for Chubb, Cardkey and Vingcard.

“Our goal has always been to provide a quality service to our clients, and that goal hasn’t changed,” comments Ken on his role. “We will continue to offer the same expert service and leading edge systems that Fidelity has built its reputation on, but we’ll now be able to offer this to an even greater number of clients and with ever improving capabilities.”

This appointment allows founding director Andy Atkinson to assume a more executive role at Fidelity, focusing on developing strategy and concentrating on internal projects.
