Allegion: Fire safety in school design reported by RIBA

A recent report by RIBA, titled Better Spaces for Learning, has revealed some disappointing facts on the UK’s school buildings situation. RIBA has also identified that a school that has been designed well can reduce running and maintenance costs, while also encouraging good behaviour of pupils and increasing the level of safety in the building.

Siemens fire safety and building automation for Hoffmann-La Roche

Swiss pharmaceutical company F. Hoffmann-La Roche opts for fire safety and building automation from Siemens for its new buildings on the Kaiseraugst campus near Basel. The order is valued at more than 1.5 million euros. The buildings are expected to be completed by mid-2017.
