ADI France Opens New Headquarters

ADI Global Distribution, a global distributor of security, AV and low-voltage products, announced it has opened a new headquarters in France. Located in Alfortville, just outside the city of Paris, the new ADI Support Center site was designed to foster a collaborative work spirit and strengthens the company’s commitment to serving the local French market. The new office, located at 5 Rue Charles de Gaulle, Alfortville, is the home to more than 50 ADI team members across numerous departments including sales, marketing, customer support and human resources. Occupying the seventh floor, the 400 square meter area features large bay windows overlooking the city and houses a variety of spaces including individual workstations, large and small meeting rooms, huddle spaces, lunchroom and more. “Opening our new headquarters demonstrates ADI’s commitment to the growing French market. In addition to the new office, we’ve been making strategic investments in our local business to better serve customers,” said Daniel Dahan, regional general manager for Southern Europe. “These investments include recruiting and hiring more sales team members, adding additional technical support and making improvements to our online shopping experience. We’re confident these changes will deliver greater value to our customers across the greater Paris region.” To further its commitment to the French market, ADI has also added more field sales team members and implemented a new inside sales team model dedicated to addressing customer needs. Additionally, ADI France has expanded its technical support capabilities and added digital web team members to improve support for online customers. The new ADI France Support Center is located within an HQE™ Certified Building, which promotes best practices in terms of sustainable construction and operation of buildings. The building also offers additional amenities including an onsite restaurant, outdoor terraces and more. With its doors officially opening in October, the ADI France Support Center commemorated this with an “Open Day” event earlier this month. More than 15 supplier partners attended to tour the new facility and meet the ADI team. Additionally, ADI France plans to host quarterly events at the new facility to spend time with customers and suppliers. ADI Support Centers represent the company’s corporate offices that support its local and global business operations. The opening of the new France location is part of the company’s global vision to modernize its workplaces and optimize the business for continued growth, while improving the customer experience. In addition to the France site, ADI recently opened Support Center sites in Oldham, UK, Breda, Netherlands, Dallas, TX, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and most recently relocated their global headquarters in Melville, NY. Beyond its Support Center sites, ADI operates more than 50 stocking locations across EMEA and over 200 globally. Customers can also shop ADI online through its Digital Branch. Securitas records song to help the homeless

Last year, the Securitas UK charity single ‘Ascending’ raised over £15,000 to help the hungry and homeless. Keen to build on this success and to support those who feel overlooked or discriminated against, a team from Securitas UK has recorded a new charity track for 2022. Called ‘See A Different World’, the lyrics reflect the importance of acceptance, understanding and inclusion. With the funds raised last year, Securitas UK helped the Kokni Muslim Association Birmingham (KMAB) provide 25,000 hot meals to those in need in Birmingham. The money also supported a hostel for the homeless, Calderwood House, by funding a minibus for a year, a ‘helpfulness’ room and staff training. The money raised by the new charity single will be used to continue to support the homeless in a variety of ways. The song’s starting point was this summer’s in-house ‘Securitas Has Got Talent’ competition which uncovered yet more musical aptitude amongst colleagues. Oliver Lincoln, Securitas UK’s ‘resident composer and pianist’ (his actual job is UK Sales Manager) was then commissioned to create a composition to showcase the skills of some of our best singers and musicians. Stepping up to the mic were Claire Leary (lead vocal), Humera Rashid (vocals), Hannah Harper (vocal and guitar) and Augustus Mends (bass). The song’s lyrics highlight the importance of creating a world of equality, diversity and inclusivity. “‘We want to help people from different cultural and religious backgrounds, people with different preferences, to feel comfortable, feel welcome and feel equal,” said Shaun Kennedy, Country President, Securitas UK. “As the song says, ‘we come from different places, but our hearts beat just the same.’ We know that times are tough, but we really hope that this message will encourage those who can spare a little to donate via our JustGiving page to help others less fortunate than themselves. Thank you for any contribution you’re able to make.” To read more news and exclusive features see our latest issue here.
