Suprema Showcases AI-Based Security Solution at ‘Intersec 2024’ in Dubai

Suprema, a global leader in AI-based security solutions, took part in the largest global security exhibition, ‘Intersec’, held in Dubai, the Middle East, from January 16th to 18th at booth S2-D33, showcasing its AI-based security solutions. During the exhibition, Suprema demonstrated the enterprise-level scalability of its security platform, ‘BioStar 2’. The newly introduced BioStar2 Multi-Communication Server (MCS) enables multiple server architecture to support large device installs to extend the target market from small offices to large corporate buildings. Furthermore, through integration with surveillance systems, BioStar 2 now allows the real-time video monitoring. Suprema also emphasised the flexibility of the architecture, highlighting the ease of integrating third-party solutions and the ability to provide services customised to customer needs. Gallagher appoints Merv Williams as CMO

Award-winning security manufacturer, Gallagher, has today announced the appointment of Merv Williams as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Williams will lead the development and delivery of Gallagher Security’s global marketing strategy across key markets including Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the UK, Europe, and IMEA, reporting to Chief Executive – Security, Mark Junge. Says Junge: “Merv is a highly experienced career marketer and a well-respected member of the Gallagher team. His continued stewardship of our brand evolution will be at the forefront of marketing efforts to accelerate growth and lift market recognition within the international security tech ecosystem.” Of his appointment to CMO Williams says: “stepping into this role at such an exciting time in our journey is a real privilege – Gallagher is 85 years young, and we are driving innovation and opening up new market opportunities across the globe on an almost daily basis – it’s a seriously great place to be”. Williams joined Gallagher Security at their global headquarters in Hamilton, New Zealand two years ago; first as Brand and PR Manager, and recently as acting CMO.
