Stanley organises Together for Safer Schools competition 2017
After the success of last year’s event, Stanley Security, one of the most trusted names in the world of security, is running the Together for Safer Schools competition this year. Three winning schools will share a £20,000 prize towards the installation of Stanley Security products and services in their premises.
Competition entries will be categorised under three different tiers – tier one has a prize value of £2,500 and is restricted to children’s nurseries, tier two has a prize value of £7,500 is applicable for schools with less than 300 students, and tier three -the highest prize – has a value of £10,000 and is for schools with over 301 students.
Each participating school or nursery will be nominated via Stanley’s website, (see link below) and have a unique URL code and SMS code generated for them to share with their supporters. Nominees will then encourage supporters to vote for them till 28 April 2017, after which the winners will be announced in May 2017.
Furthermore, each participant will receive a free site survey and will be offered a 15 per cent discount on security products and services, if implemented before 30 September 2017.
Stanley Security has prepared voting kits for participating schools and nurseries to ensure that they can manage to raise awareness and generate support for the competition. Each voting kit contains posters that can be edited to include school or nursery logos, digital web banners for Facebook, Twitter and other popular social media channels along with a detailed guide, complete with examples, of how nominees can spread the world.
Commented John Helas, Managing Director for Stanley Security GB, Ireland and Portugal:
“We had a very enthusiastic response from schools for the last competition in 2016, which is why is we are running the competition again this year. As an authoritative voice in the security industry, we feel pride in encouraging a culture of safety and peace of mind for pupils, parents, faculty and staff in education sites throughout the United Kingdom. We hope that schools and nurseries from all over the UK will take advantage of this opportunity to highlight the importance of security in educational sites.”
