RISCO Group, a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions, held its unprecedented "Outdoor Adventure" trip in the mountains of Greece. The jeep tour was the grand prize of RISCO Group’s year long Outdoor Adventure campaign, where installers of RISCO Group’s outdoor solutions including Wireless Barrier Beams, WatchOUT™ Outdoor Detectors, Twin Beams and Lumin8 Sounders had the opportunity to win an incredible group journey.
The lucky winners were flown to the beautiful destination of Greece, where they met fellow installers of RISCO Group solutions from around the world. The seven day journey began with a tour of Greece’s historic capital, Athens. Then the adventurers mounted their jeeps and wound their way up north towards the magnificent Greek mountains. They toured the area of Karpenissi, then the unchartered ‘Agrafa’ region, and finally the magical area of Meteora, where monasteries are built high up on amazing cliffs.
Along the way, the Adventurers enjoyed breathtaking views of nature, visited authentic Greek villages and tasted exquisite local cuisine. They crossed flowing rivers in their jeeps, saw spectacular waterfalls and swam in natural hot springs. The diverse group of installers exchanged professional experiences and stories while driving through the rugged outdoors in 4x4s, ending each day of explorations in the comfort of an elegant hotel.
