For more than 40 years, Security Essen has been the trade fair for civil security and thus also a meeting place for the exchange of knowledge. In 2022, the trade fair will offer a top-class and cutting-edge supporting program: Thematically matching, there will be numerous other lectures and conferences. At the Digital Networking Security Conference, which is organised in cooperation with the trade journal “kes”, experts will report on current incidents, important interfaces between corporate and IT security, legal requirements and practical implementation examples on the first two days of the trade fair. In the Security Experts Forum, exhibitors will present the latest innovations and practical experiences in the field of security on a daily basis. The Fire Protection Forum, which will be organized in cooperation with the Haus der Technik, will provide comprehensive information on fire prevention and firefighting with exciting lectures and discussions on September 22 and 23.
Security Essen counts important decision-makers and high-ranking politicians among its guests. On September 20, for example, a delegation of buyers from the United Nations (UN) will travel to the Ruhr metropolis to find out about new products. Also, participants of the European DIY Retail Association (EDRA) and the Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN) will come from all over the world to Essen. On September 22, they will be learning about innovations in modern and networked security technology that promise great sales potential, especially for DIY stores.
