London IFSEC Stand E1225- June 17, 2014 – Senstar, the world’s largest manufacturer of perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) is showcasing how FlexZone™ can report fewer nuisance alarms while maintaining a high probability of detection. The innovative ranging technology enables flexible zoning through software. It can detect and localize multiple simultaneous intrusions with three meter location accuracy.
Mark Novak, Managing Director at Senstar UK & MENA commented: “We are excited to be part of IFSEC again this year and to be introducing FlexZone to the market. And, just as we have done with past product releases, we are in the process of having this new technology undergo testing by the relevant Government bodies to secure inclusion within infrastructure projects requiring formal certification”.
FlexZone supports 600 metres of sensor cable per processor, creates zones through software, and carries power and data on the sensor cable – dramatically reducing infrastructure costs.
“Not only do endusers benefit from the reduced installed cost of FlexZone, but installers save time with FlexZone because of pre-installed openings with cable glands on the processor, convenient USB connection for set-up and a single software set up tool for all phases of installation,” said Novak.
Senstar increased its presence at IFSEC this year. In addition to FlexZone, Senstar is also demonstrating an expanded fiber technology portfolio, as a result of the Optellios merger announced in March of this year. This will allow UK and MENA customers to benefit from the most advanced ranging products in both copper and fiber.
