COP Security, the professional trade only CCTV security products distributor, has appointed Donna Butterworth to the role Area Sales Manager for the North of England.
Donna will be bringing her experience with IP technology to the new role, which will encompass supporting customers to maximise the use of COP’s comprehensive range of cost-effective and high-performance CCTV products, in particular its new range of Nexus IP surveillance equipment.
Donna’s professional career has spanned over 25 years within the security equipment distribution industry. With experience gained at Gardiner Security where she spent 13 years, Network Video Centre and more recently, DVS, where she worked extensively on the companies own IP range, Donna brings a wealth of experience in CCTV system design, extensive manufacturer product knowledge and distribution sales management.
Explaining what drew her to the new challenge with COP, Donna told SecurityNewsDesk, “I really enjoyed my time with DVS, however I was looking for a new challenge. I enjoy the banter of working closely within a team, and COP has the right friendly and professional atmosphere for me. I also relish the challenge of launching new products, and as this is also a the first time COP has had a field representative I’m really looking forward to making the role a success.”
She added, “I’m looking forward to fully utilising my distribution industry and technical experience to support COP’s existing customer base and develop new business helping to launch the new Nexus IP range. I feel privileged to be part of such a friendly and professional team and to be able to work with such a top-line product.”
