Supplier of revolving doors and physical security solutions Boon Edam has announced its Circleslide curved sliding door is now available with RC3-rated night locking doors. This addition of door reinforcement for the Circleslide strengthens the company’s security offering and provides businesses with a wider range of security options for protection against burglary attempts, attacks and vandalism.
Earlier this year, the Circleslide was assessed by the company’s accredited Notified Body and proven to comply with burglary resistance and manual attack requirements. The standard sets stringent requirements and classifications for burglar-resistant characteristics of revolving and sliding doors including six classes of burglar resistance.
“Achieving RC3 classification for the Circleslide is a fantastic result. It addresses the ever-growing demand for increased security in commercial and public buildings and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to meeting and exceeding industry standards for safety and security. It’s a crowd favourite in the UK, so we are excited to share this news with our customers,” said Graeme Firth, Managing Director, Boon Edam.
The Circleslide is not the first product in the company portfolio to receive the classification as door reinforcement packages including RC2- and RC3-rated burglar protection are also available for the Tourniket, Tourlock, Circlelock and Tournex models.
