DSEI 2015 was a success for Britannia2000 once again
It’s been 2 months since DSEI 2015 and Britannia2000 continue to receive impressive levels of enquiries and requests for more information on their Airborne and Land based products and services.
The show saw Britannia’s launch of a new fully-integrated airborne mission management system specifically designed for Mi-8/Mi-17 Hip and Mi-24/35 Hind helicopters – “BAMS:HH”. The system is based on the success of the Britannia Airborne Mission System (BAMS) which is already in service across the world, delivering advanced surveillance and targeting capabilities on numerous other platforms.
Britannia2000 also gave an exclusive preview of their new Thermal Weapon Sight: “Firefly-30”. Although not available in the market until Q1 2016, DSEI proved the perfect opportunity for visitors to have a sneak-peek of the sight. Designed for short to medium engagements (up to 300m) and specifically for law enforcement and counter terrorism units, Firefly-30 represents the future of thermal weapon sights.
Within the Airborne sector, Britannia showcased the highly successful in-service Compact Airborne Mission Computer (CAMC), several models of HD Tactical Displays (co-produced with partner Viewpoint Systems), as well as HD Airborne Video Recorders. The Land sector focused on a range of Thermal Weapon Sights – the “Firefly” family – and the impressive 6×6 Command, Control and Communication Vehicles.
