Xanview strengthen team with Mark Thomas appointment
Xanview, one of the industry frontrunners in cloud-based CCTV surveillance, has reinforced its management team with the appointment of Mark Thomas as a non-executive Director.
Mark Thomas is widely known and respected in security surveillance circles, having been the driving force behind the security division of Midwich for the past few years. Prior to his role as Director of Midwich’s Security Division, he held managing director roles at TeleEye and CCTV Centre.
Speaking to Security Newsdesk, Thomas said:
“I am delighted to take this role with Xanview. The development of cloud-based CCTV solutions is something that I have been tracking for several years and Xanview’s products have always stood out as leaders in their field.”
In this new consultancy role, Thomas will be looking at ways to bring Xanview technology to an even wider audience. He added:
“I find the possibilities and potential of cloud technology very exciting and I’ll be bringing decades of industry experience, knowledge and connections to assist Xanview with both their business objectives and to develop their product offering even further.”
Xanview’s current portfolio consists of Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and Cloud Video Management System (VMS) designed to make video surveillance faster and more convenient. Built-in analytics ensure that all information, as well as live images, are available on any device, anywhere in the world where there is an internet connection.
“I believe Xanview have the best cloud-based CCTV product on the market today – not just in the quality of the components and hardware, but also in the way the package is presented to the end user as a single and simple out-of-the-box surveillance solution, which is expandable to requirements – the future is exciting indeed,” added Thomas
