Pat Dickens, managing director for leading access automation manufacturer CENTURION, recently announced the successful acquisition of MyGSM, a company specialising in GSM-based products.
This acquisition will result in MyGSM’s two primary products being added to CENTURION’s repertoire, while Andre Geyser – who previously worked for MyGSM as an electrical engineer – will assist CENTURION’s Research and Development team in developing new products.
CENTURION is also joined by Christo Wentzel, formerly the managing member of the newly-acquired company.
“We are excited by this acquisition which we know will strengthen our position in the GSM market”, says Mr Dickens.
CENTURION, while mostly known for their high-quality gate automation products, released their own GSM product known as the G-SWITCH-22 – so named because it provides two inputs and two outputs – some two years ago. The acquisition of MyGSM is certain to expand this range by an incredible margin.
