ASSA ABLOY Improves Accessibility With New Door Closers

ASSA ABLOY UK has extended its door closer range to offer adjustable power, speed and latch control for improved accessibility across all applications.

ASSA ABLOY’s new DC1110A and DC140A Rack & Pinion door closers are suitable for a range of projects, from private to commercial and public sector, for both light and heavy weight doors.

The new door closers ‘auto’ adjust to compensate for temperature fluctuations and are user adjustable to compensate for general wear & tear of the door & other ironmongery components, therefore offering a reliable, long lasting solution that will improve whole life costing, in addition to helping maintain fire or smoke performance.

Offering easy installation, the door closers are non-handed & can be mounted on the hinge or non-hinge side of the door, reducing the need for considerable planning.

Commenting on the launch, Tina Hughan, Marketing Director for ASSA ABLOY UK, said:

“ASSA ABLOY is well known for locking technologies and the Group is a global leader in door opening solutions, our new extensive range of door closers complements its product portfolio, providing a total solution for ease of specification.

“We have been a major player in door closers worldwide for many years and the latest additions to the range improves our broad range of high quality, reliable door closers at competitive prices. The new series is fully certified to BS EN 1154/ 55, CE marked and suitable for use on fire doors.
