Award Success for Bradbury Group at Humberside Business Awards

Humberside Business AwardsJubilant CEO Jim Connell paid tribute to the outstanding contribution of all 179 Bradbury employees at the North Lincolnshire and Humberside Business Awards. Bradbury Group was announced as winners of the prestigious Business Growth Award sponsored by Associated British Ports. Connell said, “We started in 1989 with 4 employees and now have 179 – this is for them!”

At an ‘Oscars style’ gala dinner held at Grimsby Auditorium, a team from the Bradbury Group celebrated with customers and suppliers. In front of over 500 participants, Jim Connell led delighted colleagues on to the stage to collect the prestigious award. Beating off strong competition in what was the most hotly contested awards category, Bradbury Group was congratulated with hitting the recent recession head-on with exceptional growth. The company was also recently credited by the London Stock Exchange as one of the UK’s most innovative businesses.

Jim Connell, who was instrumental in the early development of the Bradbury Group, recently re-joined the company. He said, “I am really honoured to collect this trophy on behalf of the Group. Each and every member of the Company has contributed to this success and I am delighted that their hard work has been recognized. Bradbury Group is in an excellent position to capitalise on recent growth, we have ambitious plans and an exciting future ahead.”
