Discover how integrated technology solutions can maximise business potential

Involved in analogue security and looking to branch out into IP? Looking to expand your current offering into new technologies? Want to make the most out of every opportunity? Then come and discover the business-building potential of the security market at Technology Exposed 2012.

The UK’s premier showcase for integrators, installers, resellers and their customers, Technology Exposed caters to a wide range of vertical markets including education, leisure and retail. Held at the prestigious Ascot racecourse on September 19/20, the show offers technical solutions from the biggest manufacturers in technology across the security, audio visual, pro audio, consumer electronics, print and imaging markets.

What’s more, there will be no trade pricing on show, so resellers can be confident in bringing their customers along to see the future of technology solutions for themselves.

Helping you see the bigger picture

In a first for the show this year, Technology Exposed will have live, fully integrated solution zones for the command and control, leisure, healthcare and custom install market sectors — a must see for anyone involved in the security marketplace.  This is a great opportunity to see different technologies working together in specific scenarios — integrated technology solutions to maximise business potential.

Command and Control: Rarely seen at any show, the size and scale of this display solution is not to be missed! A fully working command and control room featuring a broad selection of integrated technologies: furniture from Intech; a 180 degree curved projection screen from AV Stumfl; the Panasonic edge blended and warped projection solution; Bosch’s Praesideo digital public address and emergency sound system; Dexon’s video wall processor plus a range of security products from Samsung, Bosch, Flir, Dedicated Micros and Panasonic. Come and speak to our specialist team to find out more.

Leisure: If you are already selling security products or looking to enter the leisure market, this zone will give you a better understanding of how to combine a wealth of products to provide a more complete solution. The zone includes: a pub scene with EPOS till solutions from Casio; audio products and projection solutions; an outdoor leisure area with waterproof screen; and a cinema foyer integrating large format displays fed by media players. A range of security equipment will also be incorporated including ZyXEL switching and a range of Bosch cameras.

Healthcare: Depicting a real life medical scene inclusive of waiting area, hospital bed and consultation room, this solution zone brings together: video conferencing for diagnostics; prescription and label printing; digital signage and displays; access control and security; as well as barcode scanners and an interactive TV. With the range of products on show being suitable for hospitals, dental surgeries, GP offices, private healthcare and nursing homes, this zone will give you a huge range of ideas and lucrative opportunities to expand your current offering.

“From a security perspective, this year’s Technology Exposed will be a fantastic occasion to come and see the scope of the potential and the range of sales opportunities within the security market,” reveals Carl Hayesmore, Technical Sales Manager at Midwich Security. “The command and control setup and our solution-based approach to showcasing the latest technologies will demonstrate just how closely AV and security products combine to produce an integrated solution to customers. Our specialists from both of these markets will be at the show to talk you through the products and how bringing together the best of both these technologies can expand your business opportunities.”

The biggest brands

Technology Exposed has fast become an annual showcase for some of the biggest brands in technology to unveil their latest innovations. The event also serves as an ideal opportunity to meet the experts and discover how technology can integrate to maximise business. Brands and technology representing the security market this year include:

DEXON Systems: A UK first showing of DEXON’s 4000 series image processor. With a host of new features that allow greater flexibility in the physical design layout of any video wall solution, the 4000 series also increases system functionality through direct integration of camera and media streaming technology

SilverNet: Providing the wireless infrastructure for the show, SilverNet will be exhibiting their market leading plug and play digital MESH solution

Bosch: With a dedicated stand as well as integrating into the solution areas, Bosch will be showcasing a range of security and pro-audio solutions including the Praesideo digital public address and emergency sound system and the BVMS video management system.

Dedicated Micros: The Dedicated Micros demonstration van will be onsite showing their complete camera range as well as their recording platforms and their closed IPTV switch and security solution.

Samsung: Integrated within our solution areas, a range of the latest Samsung IP cameras and recorders will be on display

ZyXEL: Providing the wired network and security infrastructure solution for the show, Zyxel switches, fire wall and security products will be on display.

Next Level: Showcasing their award-winning NLSS Gateway, this unified solution combines video management, access control, analytics, intrusion and more into a single, easy-to-use networked platform.

Flir: With a live feedback to our command and control zone, Flir’s thermal camera solution will display the Ascot racetrack; highlighting the benefits of thermal technology and how it can reduce overall system costs, with less cameras being required and the removal of on-scene lighting.

Panasonic: Along with their extensive AV product range, Panasonic will be showcasing their diverse range of security products including a range of cameras and their video management platform.

iWatch: On display outside the main hall will be the iGuard rapidly deployable CCTV tower with built-in monitoring. Towed into position and set up in minutes, it is monitored 24/7 by the iWatch remote monitoring station.
