Christie products selected as Finalists in the EMEA InAVation Awards 2014

Christie, a global visual technologies company, is pleased to announce that three of its products have been declared as Finalists in the Technology section of the EMEA InAVation Awards 2014. The winners will be announced during the ISE trade show on Wednesday 5th February at the InAVate Awards evening, which brings together industry professionals from around the world at the Amsterdam Convention Factory to recognise outstanding achievement in AV.

Phoenix™ enables you to display and control content across your existing IP network in real time for security and surveillance applications, providing content input, output, encoding and decoding simultaneously in one device. No additional cabling, routers or switches are required. It uses industry standard H.264 media encoding and decoding up to 12 high-definition H.264 streams in real time with full scaling and compositing of an incredible 1,536 HD streaming windows.

Where a direct DVI is not available Phoenix supports input and transcoding of streaming software and full support of (soft) KVM over a network. Offers web-based set-up and configuration of your content delivery and control solution and no licensing.

Featuring Christie’s new TruLife™ electronics, the D4K2560 and D4K3560 are the first native 4K resolution to offer 60Hz high frame rate to non-cinema applications. With 60Hz video processing these high brightness 3-chip DLP® projection systems offer more realistic images, more detail and more vibrant true to life images in 4K or Quad HD, while still supporting imaging, warping and stereo 3D display.

Christie InControl_screen1_InAVationAwardNominee2014•  In Control & Virtual Remote apps (Category #10 – Most InAVative Integration Tool):

The In Control and Virtual Remote apps provide projector management of single or multiple Christie M and J Series projectors from a smart device, be it Apple or Android over Wi-Fi. It’s a finger-tip response interface covering all commonly used projector functionality such as: power on/off, shutter control, test pattern selection, and lens zoom and focus; and more advanced projector functionality like 4 corner – 2D keystone and colour management. Users can scan for available projectors on their local network or enter the IP address to connect. Control is offered by an on-screen joystick or by entering specific x/y values.
