EfficientIP announces new Northern Territory Regional Manager

Wellsted will bring 20 years’ experience to drive company’s growth in EMEA

EfficientIP – a leading developer of DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP services, VLAN and IP-address management) – has announced the appointment of Martin Wellsted, as Regional Manager for the Northern Territory.

Martin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the security and telecommunications industry, having previously held business development positions at HP and BT. Joining EfficientIP from IBM – where he held the role of GTS Sales Manager – Martin will be based in the company’s Theale office with a focus on driving new business acquisition in the UK, Benelux and Nordics, supporting existing customers, and working to grow the team.

Discussing what he was most looking forward to at EfficientIP, Martin commented:

“It’s a fascinating time to be working in technology. With the rise in IoT and data analytics I’m very excited to see how we can use technology to better ourselves and the world we live in. Data is currently the single most important resource for any organisation – effective management of access to data is totally reliant on DDI.

“I believe the EfficientIP platform compliments today’s security architecture – it’s the most dynamic and agile on the market – and I’m looking forward to working with our customers to help them on their DDI journey. I’m also thrilled to be joining the team and hope with the knowledge I’m bringing of how DDI security can align with other technologies, I can position the company as central to the industry.”

David Williamson, CEO at EfficientIP, said:

“How we grow the company is very much top of our agenda for 2017 and we’re delighted to have Martin on board to help us achieve just that.”

In 2015, EfficientIP’s UK team grew by 30 per cent and earlier this year the company announced the opening of two new offices in Singapore and Canada. The company currently supports 500 customers worldwide and over the past five years it’s increased its turnover from €1.3 million to €12 million.
