“QNAP Security constantly aims to provide new innovations and features to provide complete surveillance solutions for organizations and businesses of all sizes and to fulfill various requirements for a wide range of vertical applications and project scales. With the birth of our new era of NVR, our users can look forward to advanced hardware and software features that are more efficient, accessible and convenient,” said David Chiang, General Manager of QNAP Security.

QVR 5.1 – the evolutional NVR platform

QVR 5.1 features an intelligent desktop with a multi-window design, simplified user interface, and newly added features, including Qdewarp – the innovative fisheye dewarping technology, Qstart, View Layout Management, Region of Interest (ROI), Camera Configuration, Camera Grouping, and more. QVR 5.1 optimizes storage use with smart recording that records standard-quality videos during regular activity and high-quality videos during unexpected events. QVR 5.1 now supports Real-time Intelligent Video Analytics, allowing quick analytics of videos corresponding to particular mode in real time to help administrators notify events immediately.

Upgradable NVR with storage expansion solutions

VioStor NVR’s storage expansion options offer the perfect solution for the growing storage demands for Full HD video recording and long-term video retention. By installing the StorageExpansion app (QPKG) on a Turbo NAS, administrators can connect their VioStor NVR to the Turbo NAS via network to flexibly enlarge the total storage capacity of the VioStor NVR whenever needed.

VioStor CMS & Free QSCM Lite

The powerful VioStor CMS is a turnkey solution for centralized monitoring & management with multiple VioStor NVRs distributed at different locations. Administrators can easily manage up to 1,024 channels for surveillance tasks of various sizes, and also use up to eight displays to monitor all of their surveillance channels.
The NVR can be upgraded to become a CMS server with a free 256 embedded channels by using the free QSCM Lite app, allowing you to play and manage IP cameras from up to 16 VioStor NVRs. Administrators can enjoy ease-of-use, cost-efficiency, convenience and flexibility with QSCM Lite.

Qstart

Qstart simplifies system initialization and network switch control for users to experience effortless NVR installation and remote maintenance. While providing quick initial setting in few clicks, Qstart integrates major functions of PoE switches and can set up camera IPs automatically. Users can easily manage PoE or network on/off and monitor devices status and network traffic flow. Its intuitive GUI and event notification allow for precise failure detection and efficient troubleshooting.

Mobile apps

In an increasingly mobile world, QNAP Security allow for greater surveillance management and recordings with several dedicated mobile apps. Vmobile offers camera live-view, PTZ control, instant event notifications, video search & playback, instant video sharing and more for managing surveillance wherever you are. Vcam also seamlessly extends the reach of a surveillance system by converting mobile devices into portable network cameras that records direct to a VioStor NVR.

Compact NVR VS-S2200 Pro+

With a compact & fanless design, light weight, anti-vibration protection and the ability to endure temperatures between -20°C and 55°C (-4°F to 131°F), the VS-S2200 Pro+ was built for near-universal deployment across a range of locations. It also features convenient backup options, including scheduled remote replication and a one-touch button for automatic video backup. The VS-S2200 Pro+ also features high reliability and supports UPS for 24/7 service, and automatic system startup after recovering power.

Mobile NVR VS-M2200 Pro+

Designed as a reliable in-vehicle surveillance system, the Mobile NVR features EN 50155 TX compliance with utmost vibration and shock protection, and withstands temperatures between -40°C and 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). Supporting Wi-Fi/3G/4G networks, GPS/G-sensor and dual-monitor VGA/HDMI local display (no extra PC needed for live video monitoring), the Mobile NVR is an ideal surveillance solution for a wide range of platforms including transportation and industrial settings.

VS-2200 Pro+

Powered by a quad-core Intel® 2.0GHz processor (burst up to 2.41GHz) and energy-efficient 4GB DDR3L memory, the VS-2200 Pro+ series delivers quality performance with up to 180 Mbps throughput to ensure steady recording from multiple megapixel IP cameras. The HDMI output and hardware decoder provide the ability to deliver up to 200 fps Full HD local display. With built-in GPIO (6in/2out) terminal blocks, the VS-2200 Pro+ series supports alarm system linkage between alarm equipment such as emergency push buttons and IR sensors. Once the GPIO interface receives signals, the VS-2200 Pro+ will switch to high frame rate video recording, send an event notification via email or SMS to the control center, and trigger the alarm system at the same time to help administrators respond to events in a timely manner to achieve better security.

Secutech Taipei takes place from April 28-30, 2015 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall. Visitors can visit QNAP at booth number 5421. Questions are welcome to be sent to [email protected].
