Introducing Kirintec’s REBUS ballistic tent
We are proud to present the next innovative product in our series of electronic countermeasures – the REBUS ballistic tent.
The Kirintec team has just launched this exceptional product, to assist public safety officials who discover suspect RCIEDs (radio controlled improvised explosive devices). Review our REBUS ballistic tent datasheet.
Now, in addition to electronically isolating the RCIED from potential electronic signal triggering, our new ballistic tent will provide a high degree of physical protection, should the device explode for any reason.
The ballistic part of the material has 10 layers of Spectra Shield™. This is woven into each of the four panels, resulting in V50 at 300m/s fragmentation protection.
The REBUS ballistic tent includes the same complement of EOD transition interfaces. This allows First Responder Bomb Squads easy access and controls to complete their render safe action.
Our ever improving REBUS range of products (in this case the REBUS ballistic tent) is designed to cover pressure cookers, suitcase and bags up to 77 x 60 x 28 cm. While it won’t stop terrorists from plotting, it can certainly help public safety first responders to safeguard life and property.
