iStorage’s ultra-secure data storage verified Citrix Ready

Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualisation, networking and cloud computing solutions

iStorage, a leading specialist in portable data storage and digital encryption, has just announced that its range of ultra-secure USB data storage products has been verified as Citrix Ready®. The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify products and solutions that are compatible with Citrix solutions and can enhance a secure, mobile workspace. This provides confidence to customers that iStorage’s devices have successfully passed a series of tests and can be trusted to work effectively with Citrix XenDesktop® 7.6, a solution that delivers Windows apps and desktops.

“Citrix Ready makes it easier for customers to select the most suitable products for their specific needs,” said Siddharth Rabindran, Senior Manager, Citrix Ready program “By taking part in our program, iStorage has enabled its customers to obtain the highest quality user experience available today and the simplest means for making an informed product purchasing selection.”

The full range of iStorage products completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with XenDesktop 7.6, providing confidence in joint solution compatibility. This includes the datAshur, datAshur SSD and datAshur Personal 256-bit secure flash drives. It also comprises the diskAshur USB3, diskAshur Pro and diskG hard drives along with the diskAshur DT USB3 desktop drive. All devices use advanced security features, such as PIN code access, auto-lock, self-destruct PIN and brute force protection to ensure complete data security and guaranteed 100% protection of data.

The announcement follows iStorage’s recent findings at Infosecurity Europe 2015, which found that USB devices continue to be a popular method for storing confidential information for over half (54%) of professional respondents.

John Michael, CEO at iStorage adds, “The latest validation from Citrix builds on our range of certifications including FIPS Verification and AES Hardware Encryption. We pride ourselves on working alongside partners that share the same values and customer interests in providing the highest quality experience possible. The Citrix Ready program demonstrates our commitment to providing as much assistance as possible for our customers who also rely on Citrix products.”
