Cloud video hosting technology experts Iveda Solutions have officially unveiled its newest cloud-based services, IvedaMobile, which will debut at ICS West in Las Vegas in April.
IvedaMobile transforms a smartphone or tablet into a live video streaming device and audio transmitter. Live and recorded video and audio can be shared for applications that include security, event recording, and remote insurance claims assessment.
Iveda Solutions’ cloud-hosting platform allows multiple instances of live video to be simultaneously recorded and broadcasted for immediate viewing and sharing using a web-based online viewer. Live video can also be shared with other authorized users by downloading the IvedaMobile Viewer app on their iPhone, iPad, and supported Android devices.
This unique subscription-based service will debut at the 3-day ISC West at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas starting on April 9th. Iveda Solutions will give away free IvedaMobile trial subscriptions at their booth. IvedaMobile will be a featured entry in the New Product Showcase Award, established by the Security Industry Association (SIA) to recognize innovative products.
David Ly, Iveda Solutions founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the versatility and flexibility of IvedaMobile. “We designed IvedaMobile to be a very flexible mobile app that can be scaled to fit any customer’s specific needs, whether they have two mobile devices, or two hundred, or more; it can put the power of the cloud in the palm of anyone’s hand.”
IvedaMobile is one of the first fruits of Iveda Solutions’ landmark collaboration with Taiwan’s prestigious Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). Founded in 1973, ITRI is renowned as one of the primary engines of Taiwan’s transformation from a labor-intensive underdeveloped economy into a technological powerhouse. Iveda Solutions recently announced the inauguration of its Innovation Lab at the ITRI campus in Taiwan.
“We continue to deliver innovative, hosted solutions that provide end-users power and functionality that would be too expensive or cumbersome to deploy on their own. We provide these tools to organizations through a service subscription, rather than a full system deployment, which would require continuous maintenance,” said Ly.
IvedaMobile is a great example of how cloud based technology can provide fast and affordable enterprise solutions for many applications such as security escort, event recording and sharing, remote training, real-time field reporting to headquarters, instant insurance claim field reporting, retail display assessment, inventory assessment, damage assessment, property and construction site inspection, and many more.

Currently IvedaMobile runs on certain Android devices (4.0 and above) and iPhones/iPads. IvedaMobile utilizes the most current wireless streaming technology including 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi, combined with proprietary compression technology to ensure secure and efficient video transmission.
