KBC Networks announce appointment of new Director of Engineering

KBCKBC Networks, manufacturer of industrial transmission equipment for CCTV, security and industrial control systems, has appointed Clinton Bessesen as Director of Engineering.

Clinton’s background is in IT services and solutions within the government, private enterprise, banking and financial sectors across Europe and Africa. Most recently, Clinton was Technical Director for Service Level Management supporting a variety of markets from local government and military to corporate banking and treasuries. He has extensive knowledge of hardware and software architecture platforms and has specialised in video encryption and compression.

John Crockett, CEO KBC Networks welcomed Clinton to KBC saying “Clinton’s wealth of experience from the banking and military sectors plus his skills in computing and programming makes him a perfect fit for KBC. As the trend towards IP continues, there will be many exciting product developments from KBC. We have a challenging product roadmap ahead of us, and with Clinton’s leadership, we’re looking forward to delivering more transmission solutions that will open up new opportunities and new markets for our customers.”

Clinton will be based in the UK with the KBC EMEA team and will initially focus on KBC’s IP product line, promising to expand the capabilities and applications of the ThruLink™ family of products – KBC’s solution that enables secure, live video to be streamed over public networks and 3/4G. When asked about his new role, Clinton answered, “Why I’m excited to join? I enjoy disruptive innovation and being part of KBC will allow us to bring just these types of solutions to the market place.”
