ExtraHop, the global leader in real-time wire data analytics for IT intelligence and business operations, has further strengthened its leadership team with the addition of Leonard Iventosch as VP of Global Channels. Iventosch’s hire follows the company’s recent announcement that John Matthews, former F5 CIO, had joined the ExtraHop executive team as CIO. With more than 25 years of experience driving multi-national channel strategy for technology companies including EMC, Isilon Systems, and NetApp, Iventosch will lead ExtraHop’s channel sales team as the company expands its partnerships in North America and across the globe.
“Leonard’s track record of rapidly growing channel-sales success at some of the world’s largest technology companies makes him a tremendous asset to ExtraHop,” said Jesse Rothstein, CEO, ExtraHop. “His vision and proven ability to execute on innovative channel strategies will be integral to fast growth in the years to come.”
“Over the past few years we’ve built a presence in the channel with a strong and growing network of partners in the U.S. and abroad, but we’ve reached a point in our growth where we need increased channel leverage to achieve our aggressive growth objectives,” said Eric Scollard, VP of Sales at ExtraHop. “Having Leonard as part of my leadership team gives ExtraHop a big advantage as we scale up our channel operations. The depth of his experience and the respect he has earned in the channel are unparalleled.”
Iventosch’s outstanding work has received recognition from some of the most respected voices in the IT channel. Channel Insider named him one of the top-10 channel leaders in the world, and he is a six-time CRN Channel Chief. Prior to joining ExtraHop, Iventosch served as VP Americas Channels at EMC, during which time the North America division saw nearly 20 percent compounded annual channel sales growth. Prior to his work at EMC, Iventosch was the VP of Global Channels at Isilon Systems (acquired by EMC). During his tenure at Isilon, Iventosch and his team expanded channel contribution to nearly two-thirds of overall sales and built an extensive network of top-tier reseller partners.
Iventosch’s appointment reflects the rapidly accelerating adoption of the ExtraHop wire data analytics platform as a foundational element of a robust, scalable IT operations architecture. Global enterprises including Morgan Stanley, Lockheed Martin, Concur, Purdue Pharma, and McKesson use ExtraHop to provide deep, rich visibility into their IT environments.
“Having worked for some of the world’s largest tech companies building channel programs, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes for these organizations to thrive,” said Iventosch. “I see those elements at ExtraHop – smart, driven people; a highly disruptive product that solves meaningful problems; and a laser focus on helping both customers and partners succeed. I’m eager to be a part of this company, building a strong partner ecosystem around a technology that is transforming IT and business operations.”
