Load DynamiX appoints Gavin Tweedie as its first EMEA Operations Director

Load DynamiX, the leader in storage infrastructure performance validation

Load DynamiX, the leader in storage infrastructure performance validation, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Gavin Tweedie as its first operations director for the EMEA region.
The progression into Europe is a natural next step for Load DynamiX as demand for storage performance validation at larger IT organizations continues to increase due to the compelling benefits of dramatically reduced storage costs and performance assurance. The EMEA operations director position was created to enable the company’s local expansion directly from the region, facilitating a smoother, quicker and more successful growth and showcases Load DynamiX’s commitment to the region. Gavin Tweedie brings nearly 20 years’ experience in helping grow the EMEA operations of successful enterprise software and cloud-enabled start-ups, building their sales and services teams from scratch. In his new role, he will leverage his experience to drive the launch of Load DynamiX in the region, with the initial focus on the UK market.  Expansion into Germany, France, and the Benelux region will follow.
“Gavin’s knowledge of the European market combined with his solid experience in the data storage industry makes him invaluable to the Load DynamiX team as we roll-out our operations across the EMEA region,” said Warren Bell vice-president of worldwide sales at Load DynamiX.
Gavin has held sales and system engineering management positions with both large established market leaders including IBM, HP, and Sun Microsystems as well as smaller privately held and emerging companies such as Adstream, Signiant, and Insignia Solutions. Earlier in his career, Gavin was a co-founding EMEA employee at AppIQ, Trellisoft, and HighGround Systems, which were acquired by HP, IBM, and Sun Microsystems respectively.  Gavin played a critical role in helping establish these companies in the European market.
