Luminite Electronics range of PIR detectors released

Luminite Electronics has released its new range of PIR detectors intended to further add to the further portfolio of products already available by the company.

The manufacturer of wireless and hard wired PIR detectors, Luminite Electronics, has announced the re-launch of their latest wireless keypad, offering installers a flexible and increasingly secure method of remotely setting and un-setting a working alarm system.

The new keypad (LGKSQ) is designed to work with Luminite’s Genesis range of PIR detectors; it is waterproof to IP66 and has a radio range of up to 300m, making it suitable for entry/exit points – for example, on a construction site or similar location.

Each unit is equipped with a simple plug in module to which permits installers to utilise the keypad in conjunction with Genesis IP mastheads. A Genesis IP masthead (LGIPMT434) is also required in order for the keypad to function and users can also integrate the keypad to third party alarm systems with the SDK IP integration.

The keypad is secure, fully encrypted and will assign and store up to eight PIN number and user names. Existing Genesis IP installations may be upgraded to take advantage of the new keypad. Alternatively the keypad will work with Luminite’s Relay Control Unit over RS232.
