Meesons gain Secured by Design recognition

Meesons, a supplier and installer of a wide range of innovative anti-tailgating entrance control solutions, is pleased to announce that its C190 S1-S3, E1G and FPJ140 2SX Security Portals have been accredited by Secured by Design (SBD).

Secured by Design is the national police initiative to help design out crime through the use of high-quality, innovative products and processes. In order to achieve Secured by Design status, the C190 S1-S3, E1G and FPJ140 2SX Security Portals had to adhere to rigorous test standards required by the police.

The SBD logo is a highly regarded police initiative to accredited products which are deemed to provide a realistic level of resistance to criminal attack. These products are used by the likes of architects, developers, end users and more to give them preventative reassurance.

Speaking about the certification, Jeremy Terry, CEO of Meesons, said: “It means our range of Secured by Design accredited Security Portals provide a robust physical barrier at entry points as well as having a high level of aesthetic appeal.”

Guy Ferguson, Chief Executive, Secured by Design, said: “We are thrilled Meesons have gained SBD accreditation,” added Guy Ferguson, Chief Executive, Secured by Design. “It’s brilliant to have such a well-founded and long-established company continuing to come up with such innovative and ground-breaking solutions which take account of modern security needs in such a highly effective way.”
