Veracity, the leader in connectivity and transmission solutions for IP Video, has appointed Stephen Jones as a Regional Manager covering Midwest United States across the north-east and central states.  Stephen joins Veracity from surveillance data storage and analytics specialist Intransa.

Stephen joins Veracity as it continues to expand its operations in the United States, with the company doubling its number of employees last year.  Stephen is a respected business development professional with over 20 years senior level experience in developing, marketing and selling enterprise video and security solutions.  After graduating from Cornerstone University based at Grand Rapids, Michigan, Stephen worked for leading East Coast security integrator and guarding company Vector Security, progressing to a senior management position.

Stephen joined GE Security (now UTC) in 1999 as a territory manager for the Midwest, progressing to national accounts manager, with a track record of successful sales development.  Stephen has recently held regional sales manager roles for Mitsubishi, with his last role as Midwest regional sales manager for Intransa.  At Intransa, Stephen recently sold and managed the roll-out of a 110 site project and was also responsible for adding Intransa into over 100 projects through a successful A&E (Architects and Engineers) specifier programme.

Veracity has recently moved to prestigious offices in Glen Rock, New Jersey. Stephen will be based from his home in Canfield, Ohio to serve Veracity’s growing Midwest-based customer base.

Scott Sereboff, chief executive officer, Veracity USA, commented:

“Stephen joins us at a great time as our COLDSTORE surveillance storage solution is making major in-roads into the US market.  We are working hard to ensure that everyone involved in specifying security equipment is aware of the reliability and energy saving benefits of COLDSTORE, ensuring it is included in their specifications.  Stephen has great experience in business development.”
