Optical networking specialist Optelian announced today that it is a new industry member of Internet2, an advanced networking consortium led by the research and education communities. Optelian will join Internet2 at its upcoming summer technical meeting – the 2012 ESCC/Internet2 Joint Techs Meeting, being hosted by Stanford University from Sunday, July 15 to Thursday, July 19. The meeting will be at the Li Ka Shing Conference Center located within the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge.
