Paxton launch upgrade to smart, simple IP door entry system, Net2 Entry

Net2 Entry (2)Paxton, the market leader of electronic IP access control and SIP compatible door entry equipment, have announced the launch of Net2 Entry v2.12, a significant upgrade to their smart, simple IP door entry system. Customers can now enjoy the following high security features; intruder alarm integration, secondary IP camera integration and video voicemail.

Net2 Entry was released in 2012 to great industry acclaim. The system offers a scalable, flexible approach as well as easy installation with just three components that plug together. Developments to the range have included the vandal resistance and SIP compatibility. SIP compatibility allows customers to answer their Net2 Entry panel from any SIP enabled device such as a smartphone. Net2 Entry v2.12 is the third significant upgrade to the system, comprising enhanced capabilities with many new high security features enabling installers to offer customers a simple, complete door entry solution for extra peace of mind.

Secondary camera integration provides increased security, allowing visibility on restricted areas and flexible viewing with the option to switch between two cameras on the Net2 Entry monitor. This is ideal for sites with increased security requirements.

Intruder alarm integration gives added convenience, enabling users to arm and disarm their intruder alarm via the Net2 Entry panel with their token and pin.

The video voicemail feature allows site visitors to leave a video message at the Net2 Entry Panel if they receive no response. The video voicemail can be personalised with a greeting of up to 30 seconds and has capacity to hold 20 messages at the Net2 Entry monitor.

Angel Gallego from CCTV Center says: “v2.12 was easy to install and use. All the new features are really important; I particularly find intruder alarm integration useful, as well as video voicemail, and the fact that Net2 now receives every event.”

Paxton has become a market leader through their efforts to listen to and exceed the expectations of their customer base. They pay exceptional attention to the development of high quality products, moving beyond simple access control to offer a range of flexible solutions. Their products have simplicity designed in, to ensure their customers find them easy to install, use and maintain.

Euan Brown from Alternative Systems Protection who recently installed the system upgrade says: “It was extremely easy to update the firmware, it’s a fantastic bit of kit. The quality of build, reliability, and the excellent customer support from Paxton are what keep me coming back. The video messaging is one of the main features that’s really useful. I would definitely use Net2 Entry again.”

Adam Stroud, CEO of the Paxton Group says: “Since the initial launch of Net2 Entry, our first video entry system, in 2012, we have been delighted with its reception by the market.  Combining the latest IP technology with revolutionary ease of use has led to the system becoming both a technological and commercial success.  Since 2012 we have been demonstrating our commitment to Net2 Entry by expanding the range of products and adding features.  The latest software upgrade, v2.12, is available free of charge and includes some powerful new features designed to increase security and convenience for customers.”
