Product spotlight – CSL launches MiniAir 2

CSL launches the single-path signalling solution, MiniAir 2 – The ideal mobile upgrade for digital communicators

MiniAir 2 is CSL’s single-path signalling solution that utilises a 4G/LTE-M path to signal an alarm from a protected premises to an ARC. It comes with a standby SIM as a backup to safeguard your system if the active SIM fails. Both SIMs operate on an independent network from the other for total resilience. It is designed for both residential and commercial premises as an affordable upgrade from a digital communicator to secure signalling.

The UK & Ireland’s Telephone Network Upgrade is well underway and hundreds of thousands of alarm systems are still utilising legacy digital communicators that rely on PSTN. MiniAir 2 provides a cost-effective, future-proofed, radio signalling solution to ensure alarm systems can still send signals to the ARC. This professional signalling upgrade also ensures systems maintain their existing Police URNs.

Like all CSL products, MiniAir 2 is supported by the Gemini Global Platform, which has been designed with full resilience and diversity at every point. Gemini checks the entire signalling route, providing the highest levels of reliability.

Why Choose MiniAir 2?

  • Installer & End-User Apps: View event logs and receive push notifications in the event of an alarm activation
  • Superfast Installation: Simply remove the existing phone line from the digital communicator and connect the MiniAir 2 in its place
  • Backup SIM: MiniAir 2 has a backup network diverse 4G WorldSIM to help safeguard your system if the active SIM fails
  • All IP (Copper Switch-Off) Ready: The ideal mobile upgrade for digital communicators that rely on PSTN lines
