Security solutions provider, Stanley Security, has been accredited with ISO 9001:2015 – the very latest Quality Management System Standard.
Awarded for fulfilling criteria for a quality management system, ISO 9001:2015 ensures organisations follow a structured approach and take risk management seriously.
The accreditation is based on a number of quality management principles such as strong customer focus, motivation, implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement within an organisation.
For customers, the accreditation provides clear proof that products and services work and meet legal and industry standards, with processes in place to rectify any potential problems that occur. It’s also designed to make staff more efficient by standardising systems and procedures.
Stanley Security has been accredited the quality standard, BS EN ISO 9001:2008 for many years, and the move to the more stringent 2015 demonstrates a greater focus on internal and external factors that could impact the quality of services.
Ross Marotta, Stanley Security’s Compliance Manager, commented: “The ISO 9001:2015 accreditation is proof we can provide customers with consistent, reliable and fit for purpose solutions and services.
“It can provide assurance that we listen to our customers and respond proactively to customer feedback – customers can be secure in the knowledge that any issues are identified and resolved quickly.”
Stanley Security’s ISO 9001:2015 accreditation holds for a maximum time period of three years, throughout which, the company will be subject to mandatory audits to ensure compliance.
The accreditation has been awarded through the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), a leading certification body for the security and fire protection sectors in the UK.
