Milestone Systems, the open platform company in network video management software (VMS), has joined forces with Security Center (Öryggismiðstöðin) and Verkís to provide an advanced security solution for Holmsheidi Prison in Reykjavik, Iceland.
One of the UK’s most high security prisons is using technology from eyevis UK to upgrade its control room after the company’s previous installation delivered 60,000 hours of faultless operation. The prison, which cannot be identified for security reasons, first installed eyevis displays in early 2009 and they have been operating 24/7 ever since.
