Discover how integrated technology solutions provide business-building potential

Taking place at the prestigious Ascot racecourse on September 19/20, Technology Exposed 2012 is the UK’s premier showcase for custom installers and resellers. For 2012, Technology Exposed will be different. Not only will the biggest brands unveil their latest innovations but it will be an opportunity to see different technologies working together in specific scenarios — integrated technology solutions to maximise business potential.

In a first for the show, this year will feature solution areas to alert resellers to the potential in providing a total technology package to customers. The areas will showcase fully-integrated technology within ‘real life’ simulated environments which include the command and control, healthcare, home cinema, and leisure and hospitality sectors. Experts will be on hand to show resellers the exciting possibilities and business-growing opportunities in these lucrative markets.

Now in its third year Technology Exposed is an unmissable opportunity to see the latest technologies and meet with key manufacturers across the audio visual, audio, consumer electronics, security, barcode scanners, print and imaging markets. It also offers a great opportunity for resellers and installers to being their end user customers along. There will be no trade pricing on show, so resellers can be confident bringing their customers along to see the future of technology solutions for themselves.

Last year, visitors were wowed with the first UK showing of Samsung’s impressive

multi-touch display, the SUR40. This year will be no exception, with a number of first showings already confirmed; Pansonic will be focusing on interactive solutions while also exhibiting their first ever lampless projector, Atlona will debut their Linkcast wireless HD distribution solution; Evoko’s innovative touch-screen room booking system will be on show; the new Dexon 4000 series video wall controller will get its UK debut; the Avaya Flare Experience communication application will be demonstrated; while B-Tech will be launching their new ‘pop out’ videowall mounting solution. More announcements, including details of the Olympian who’ll be coming along especially to open the show, will be made in the run up to the event @tech-expo on Twitter.

The event has fast become an annual showcase for some of the biggest brands in technology to unveil their latest innovations. Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Casio, NEC, Mitsubishi and Canon will be attending, as will specialists such as AV Stumpfl, Dexon, Exterity, Draper, TVOne, Intermec, Honeywell and Zebra. With so many key vendors

coming together under the one roof, Technology Exposed is an ideal opportunity to meet the experts and discover how technology can integrate to maximise business.

“From the outset, interest in Technology Exposed was unprecedented,” explains Stephen Fenby, managing director of the Midwich group. “The diverse range of vendors, and

the interest of the visitors who attend, prove that our industry needs this event. In addition to a substantial sales team, we will have directors, business management, credit, marketing and IT teams on site to answer customer questions. Customers can also discover how we can help their businesses grow with our services such as data feeds, customer credit intelligence and marketing support.

“This year we would particularly encourage our customers to bring along their end-users in order to see products and solutions first hand. For resellers and their customers, no other show in the UK brings together so many manufacturers and technologies under one roof.”

Organised by the Midwich group of trade-only technology distributors, Technology Exposed 2012 will bring together experts from; the security specialists Midwich Security; the barcode, scanning and EPOS experts, Synergix; pro audio specialists, RW Salt; the technical AV solutions specialists, True Colours; specialists in residential custom installations, MidwichHome; leisure and hospitality experts, Owl Visual; and integrated AV solution providers for residential, commercial and marine applications, Invision UK; alongside a presence from Square One, the AV and IT distributor offering local insight and knowledge to the Irish market;
