Tosibox names Jarno Limnéll as CEO

Finnish IoT infrastructure security firm, Tosibox Oy, has appointed world-renowned cyber security expert, Jarno Limnéll, as its new Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Limnéll’s mission is to lead the drive for Tosibox’s remote connection technology to become the de facto standard for secure Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures in network management.

Prior to joining Tosibox, Limnéll was Director of Cyber Security at the technology firms Insta Group, McAfee and Stonesoft. He holds a position as professor of cyber security at the Aalto University of Helsinki as well as professorships at three other universities.
 
With double digit revenue growth each year, Tosibox holds the view that secure remote access of devices to the Internet need not to be complicated, expensive or time-consuming. It was founded on the belief that: “If a tourist can fly across oceans without knowing anything about airplanes, why can’t people enjoy the benefits of technology without having an IT degree?”
 
Tosibox developed and patented the world’s first remote access device with Plug & Go technology. It sold its first device into Finland in 2012 and then quickly expanded into other markets with the launch of three subsidiaries in Germany, Scandinavia and the USA. Tosibox products are now sold across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
