Vemotion showcase at Nottingham Technology Roadshow

Yorkshire-based security transmission specialists Vemotion join some of the leading names in CCTV technology on Friday 27 February as they demonstrate the capabilities of their game changing solutions at the Swift Technology Roadshow in Nottingham.

Hosted by Swift Fire and Security, the event at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel, will see a range of industry leading firms share their expertise and showcase some of the most innovative technology currently on the market. Vemotion’s presence is headed by CEO Stewart McCone, as he joins other key individuals in delivering a unique seminar to those attending the event with Stewart highlighting how Vemotion’s wireless technology is transforming people’s viewpoint within the industry.

“Swift are a company with over 30 years’ experience and they know the industry inside and out, for us to be able to talk about our technologies at one of their roadshows is a fantastic opportunity to share our product with other market leaders,” said Vemotion CEO Stewart McCone. “Our solutions are changing the way people think about CCTV and this event is just another platform for us to explain how Vemotion’s transmission technology can continue to improve public safety.”

Vemotion specialise in supplying wireless video transmission solutions and developing systems to cater for town centre management, crowd control and mobile and deployable CCTV solutions for quick incident response. At the Swift Roadshow, Stewart will deliver the case for streaming video and data over a range of networks, including low bit rate networks such as 3G and GPRS which can be accessed on any handheld device.

“There are so many benefits of Vemotion’s security transmissions, but seeing is believing and that’s why demonstrate at events like this are such a great opportunity,” said Stewart. “We can provide wireless CCTV solutions that are cost effective, highly flexible and easy to deploy, but more importantly can be integrated into and supplement existing hard wired CCTV networks.”

Vemotion’s appearance at the Swift Technology Roadshow sees the firm continue a wave of activity which includes providing security platforms for a couple of high profile sporting events last summer during the Yorkshire stages of the Tour de France and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Vemotion’s transmission technology has also been used to avert fly tipping in Bromley and it has helped tackle anti-social behaviour in Wakefield, amongst other specific local transmission challenges faced by local authorities and agencies.

Also on show will be some of the latest offerings from other security industry leading innovators delivering information for products for a range of needs, including bus lane enforcement, mobile camera technology, convergence technology, asset tracking, video analytics and IP based CCTV systems. The day, which begins at 10.30AM and continues until 2.30PM, will be broken down into a range of seminars and a lunchtime exhibition.
