Securitas has been ranked amongst the UK’s top 400 companies following an independent survey carried out on behalf of global business and financial information and news leader, Bloomberg. The survey, carried out by Statista for Bloomberg’s content and research arm took place in October and respondents were asked a series of questions about job satisfaction; most critically, whether they would recommend their current employer – or a competitor – to a potential employee. Securitas is the only security company to be placed in this ranking. Securitas’ HR Director, Karen Morris-Lanz said: “I’m delighted that Securitas has been recognised as a Best UK Employer in 2016. Securitas’ employer journey in the UK over the last few years has seen some significant changes. This has involved challenging the stereotypical views that people hold about the security industry and the varied careers that we can support both nationally and internationally. As one of the UK’s largest employers, we are pleased to be recognised for the quality of our people and continue to strive to improve and promote sustainability and careers within the local communities we serve.” Over 15,000 workers in more than 1600 UK-based firms with at least 500 workers took part in the online survey. The firm’s Country President, Brian Riis Nielsen added: ” Managing and engaging people at work to deliver the best is what we do and our company values are immensely important to us . We work globally with a toolbox developed internally to ensure our values run through everything we do . Values drive our behaviour; we are a people business and I’m very proud the team has been recognised for the skills we are promoting internally. “
