icomply India launches November

Technical Consultant, Vivek Kumar

In the next chapter of icomply’s global expansion, we are delighted to announce that icomply India will launch in November 2012.

India has one of the most rapidly growing security markets in the world.  With thousands of public and private sector businesses installing CCTV and security control rooms for the very first time, there is extremely high demand in India for the cost-effective open platform software, V-TAS Pro.

About icomply India

Our new offices will be based in New Delhi and lead by Technical Consultant, Vivek Kumar.  icomply has enjoyed a close professional relationship with Vivek since 2003, when he completed a Master’s degree in Distributing Multimedia Systems at the University of Leeds.  His 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, along with detailed knowledge of V-TAS Pro, places Vivek as the ideal ambassador for icomply’s control room software in India.

Security market in India

“Since the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks, there’s been a revolution in Indian security”, Vivek comments.  “Both public and private sector businesses are rapidly installing CCTV, often from scratch.  But their CCTV systems are not organised, which is where icomply’s unique ‘one-stop solution’ for control room management comes in.

“There’s no other product in India like V-TAS Pro, because it’s not your average video management software.  V-TAS Pro can integrate streams from different manufacturers, alongside recording incidents in real time, recording audit trails, taking alarms and lots of other functions.  The new CCTV control rooms that are being created in India do not need a wide range of separate systems for controlling CCTV.  They only need one system – V-TAS Pro.”

The Managing Director of icomply, Hugh Barker, is looking forward to this exciting new chapter of icomply.  “We are delighted to be working with Vivek once again.  He is an enthusiastic team player and experienced all-round IT warrior, with a wealth of related experience from working with icomply previously.  India is a booming market and we are looking forward to identifying and working with local integrator partners, delivering complex control room projects in icomply India.”

Vivek Kumar will be attending IFSEC India 1-3rd November 2012.  Please get in touch if you’d like to speak to Vivek with opportunities regarding icomply India.
