Digital video security solutions specialist VDT Direct has announced its new cloud-based alarm system, WebEye Home, aimed at the residential market and out April 1.
Quick and easy to install, it enables alarm notifications to be received and handled from any internet-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone including iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone.
According to Clive Mason, Managing Director of VDT Direct: “WebEye Home will be sold through accredited installers and system integrators across the UK. Cost effective to install with low running costs, it provides home and property owners with the confidence that they are protected around the clock.”
Already in use globally with major alarm monitoring and guarding companies, WebEye Home is a professional alarm solution. Uniquely, it alerts home owners using a variety of methods, including push notifications, to ensure the message gets through. With reliability and resilience built-in, the system is fully auditable enabling a full history of every alarm notification to be viewed.
WebEye Home uses high quality wireless components from VDT Direct’s new HomeAlert alarm system from Videofied, which meets all Class 2 EN security alarm panel standards. It includes VDT’s exclusive new low-cost alarm panel, the recently launched indoor motion viewer camera/detector with Look In App technology and a keypad, all of which are available from VDT Direct for professional installation by accredited installers.
“WebEye Home offers significant ongoing revenue opportunities and we are currently appointing new reseller partners across the UK, Europe and Africa,” continued Mason. “Approved WebEye Home service installers will qualify for significant discounts on the product and the service, which provides significant new ongoing revenue opportunities.”
