Lumeo announces new Device & AI Model partnerships

Lumeo, a designer of computer vision solutions, announces several key initiatives that serve to accelerate deployment of custom video analytics solutions by customers. First, Nvidia-powered devices: commercial-grade / ruggedised Advantech, and AI Mobile Jetson and DGPU devices are available with Lumeo pre-installed for a smoother out-of-the-box deployment. Second, a partnership with Seneca, an Arrow Company, makes it easy for integrators and solution providers to procure these devices. Finally, the addition of Cvedia AI Models brings additional third-party pre-built analytics into the Lumeo Marketplace. With these initiatives, Lumeo continues to simplify and speed up the process of building and deploying powerful analytics.

Lumeo is an open and flexible video analytics platform that addresses the specific business challenge of bridging the latest AI models and techniques with a growing audience attempting to bring intelligence and automation to market through vision AI.

“We are pleased to partner with Seneca, Advantech, AIMobile, three of the leading providers of Nvidia Jetson and Discrete GPU (DGPU) powered hardware, manufactured specifically for AI applications,” said Bob Cutting, COO of Lumeo. “These partnerships will let customers easily install and deploy a complete AI vision solution that integrates with existing security and surveillance infrastructure.”

“At Seneca, we were looking for the right combination of hardware and a cutting-edge AI platform to accelerate time to market for our customers,” commented Dan Hodkinson, Business Development Manager, Seneca. “We are excited to find that combination with the Lumeo platform and the Lumeo-ready hardware from AI Mobile and Advantech.”

Hardware that is fine-tuned to run powerful AI analytics is a must have for today’s data-driven applications, but without a software platform and AI models that collect and analyse data, the hardware cannot provide its full potential. The addition of the Cvedia AI models into Lumeo’s marketplace allows for quick deployment to any security or surveillance system. Cvedia is an AI solutions company that creates machine learning algorithms for applications where data is limited or unavailable, using synthetic data, which often outperforms traditional algorithms due to their feature-based design. Cvedia offers such key analytics as human detection, vehicle classification, face and license plate anonymisers, social distance mapping, gun detector, and a host of other cutting-edge AI analytic models.

“The addition of Cvedia models into the Lumeo Marketplace is an example of how Lumeo continues to bring the ecosystem together to enhance the scope and the speed of delivering custom analytics,” commented Cutting.

The combination of a flexible analytics platform, hardware built to run AI and a growing marketplace of powerful, pre-built AI models allows Lumeo to offer a complete Vision AI solution to solution providers and integrators.
