Following the successful introduction of video production during Intersec 2013, Security Media Publishing (SMP) is proud to announce that Intersec has signed an agreement appointing its SecurityNewsDesk TV arm as exclusive video provider at the 2014 exhibition.
The SecurityNewsDesk TV team will provide the full list of expert services that were available at Intersec 2013, including daily news reports posted online each morning covering each of the five product sections at Intersec (Commercial Security, Information Security, Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health and Homeland Security), but with a wider reach thanks to exciting new projects SecurityNewsDesk have in the pipeline and will be announcing at Intersec 2014.
Speaking on the relationship between SecurityNewsDesk and Intersec, Andreas Rex, Senior Show Manager for Intersec, said, “At Intersec we try our best to bring added value to our exhibitors and visitors. Each year we try to strengthen our offerings and our partnership with Security News Desk forms part of this strategy.”
SMP’s Director of Media, Peter Mawson, said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to build on the success of SecurityNewsDesk TV’s proven position in the Middle East and be a part of Intersec 2014, which is widely accepted as the leading regional hub for business relations in the Middle East security industry. Extending their relationship with us as a means of achieving their aim of continuing to advance the manner in which show news is delivered proves Intersec’s dedication to spreading the knowledge and expertise that Intersec 2014 brings together.
From a marketing perspective, taking advantage of the service during Intersec 2014 presents exhibitors with a unique opportunity to capitalise on their participation by dramatically extending the reach of their message and opening them up to new audiences. There will also be opportunities for commercial interviews and stand tours as well as a wide range of chances to place your brand front and centre on one or more of our video news reports.”
“It has been our experience that exhibitions, particularly one as well regarded as Intersec 2014, are an excellent environment in which to record interviews and demonstrations,” said Peter Mawson. “Shows create an atmosphere that looks and sounds great on video, and that appropriate company representatives are always on hand for interviews and product demonstrations; not to mention branded and dressed stands to provide the ideal backdrop.
It really is a cost-effective way to gain additional benefit from your investment in appearing at the show. To add further value, all videos recorded during Intersec 2014 will be distributed to the exhibition’s database of over 80,000 people as well as Security Media Publishing’s own databases, totalling more than 37,500 industry professionals, giving you access to a broad cross section of industry leaders, not restricting you to just visitors at the show.”
