Teleste expands global video surveillance sales in the Middle East

telesteTeleste, an international technology group specialising in broadband video and data communication systems and services, has announced the opening of a new sales office in Dubai. The office will be operational in January 2014. The expansion follows Teleste’s strategy of providing its world-class video surveillance solutions to customers on a global scale.

Due to increasing security concerns and threats, the global video surveillance market is projected to expand rapidly in the next coming years. The development is especially strong in the IP/Network video surveillance market, which is projected to grow at a CAGR of almost 25 percent over the period 2013-2018. One of the key regions for expansion is EMEA, including the Middle East.

“The market demand for networked video surveillance solutions in the Middle East is rapidly expanding. To secure new critical infrastructure and services, as well as foster economic growth and development, security professionals are looking for solutions that can fulfill their requirements for demanding environments as well as state-of-the-art technology. Teleste is pleased to support the growing market with our comprehensive solutions portfolio, which fulfills the highest international standards”, said Johan Slotte, Deputy CEO of the Teleste Corporation.

“We are very excited to announce our new sales office in Dubai this month. This expansion demonstrates our commitment to the important Middle Eastern market”, said Søren Kannov, Director of Business Development at Teleste Dubai. ”Teleste’s video surveillance solutions are based on the latest IP technology and a core understanding of networked video. Our solutions are trusted by major international security professionals and we are thrilled to be able to further enhance the availability of our software and equipment  for our new and existing customers in the Middle East.”
