ATG Access to showcase Shallow Mount technology at Intersec 2014

ATG-AccessATG Access, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of security bollards and vehicle barrier systems, is set to introduce its Shallow Mount bollards at stand S1-638C during Intersec 2014 in Dubai this week.

The British company has witnessed increasing success globally in recent year’s thanks to ground breaking, innovative engineering. As a direct result from increased market share in the Middle East alone it’s turnover has jumped from £11 million to £17 million due to securing projects in the region, such as the new Doha International Airport; the biggest bollard project in the world to date.

Highlighting their dedication to the Middle East Market, ATG Access will be exhibiting at Intersec 2014, showcasing a range of their latest products and services, including their unique Shallow Mount technology.

ATG Access’s Shallow Mount bollard is a product that not only offers PAS 68 rated protection; it also provides customers with a ‘green solution’ to their perimeter security needs.

DSC00030 (Custom)The benefits of Shallow Mount technology include:

  • Low quantity of concrete compared to other solutions
  • Shorter installation period
  • Reduction in time needed for setting out.
  • No formwork required
  • Straight forward concrete sub-base – no need for reinforcing bars
  • Reduction in service disruption and additional ground works

Gavin Hepburn, Sales and Marketing Director, ATG Access, said, “Shallow Mount bollards were originally designed to combat the problematic fitting of traditional bollards, which require deep foundations and can cause inconvenience when exposing a range of services, prohibiting installation.”

He went on to add, “Intersec 2014 is the ideal location to showcase this product, and so many others, to the Middle East market and beyond. The exhibition is ideally located in the business hub of the region and is widely regarded one of the most crucial events in the Security Industry’s calendar, and I am looking forward to meeting new and existing clients at the event.”
