It only takes place every two years and is mainland Europe’s largest and most successful exhibition, which is why so many thousands of security professionals will be looking forward to making their way to Security Essen, which takes place on 23rd – 26th September.
Over 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries will be looking to demonstrate their very latest solutions, including Ampleye, whose Nox-20 cameras can capture images at ultra-high 20 Megapixels resolution at 30 frames per second, and RIVA, whose cameras incorporate intelligent “onboard” video analytics.
Ampleye and RIVA have invited Wavestore to demonstrate on their stands how its open platform VMS software can interact with their cameras to
provide a seamlessly integrated video surveillance solution.
As a global leader in video management, we are of course pleased to support both these highly respected manufacturers at Security Essen. Whilst doing so, we will take the opportunity to demonstrate to visitors from across Europe how our open platform philosophy enables us to work with technology partners as well as camera manufacturers to offer a comprehensive security system that incorporates a wide range of security solutions such as Access Control, Perimeter Security, Fire Detection, ANPR, Biometric Facial Recognition, People Counting, Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS), Intelligent Video Analytics and many more.
Major IP-based Access Control Development
Wavestore customers whose requirements for a security solution includes the capability to view live or recorded images in order to visually verify the identity of staff, contractors, suppliers and visitors when they enter a building or a restricted area, can now confidently look to AXIS Communications and Wavestore to offer the perfect solution.
Following on the news in our August newsletter that AXIS Communications and Wavestore have formed a technology partnership to ensure full interoperability between their respective video solutions, we are pleased to announce that AXIS’ recently launched Access Control solution has been successfully integrated with Wavestore’s Video Management Software (VMS).
The AXIS A1001 door controller is the first non-proprietary and open IP-based access controller on the market and can handle any type of door lock.
It is designed to provide a platform for two different types of access control applications. AXIS Entry Manager, comprising AXIS A1001 with built in software, is a ready-made solution for small to mid-sized businesses, with typically 10 doors and basic access control requirements, whilst for larger enterprise systems, AXIS A1001’s open application programming interface enables Axis’ Application Development Partners (ADP), to meet specific customer requirements.
Over the next three weeks, AXIS are holding five events throughout the Northern Europe Region to formally launch its Access Control products and to introduce its key partners, such as Wavestore, who have integrated their systems. Click below for details of the dates, venues and how to register to attend these events, or contact Wavestore for more information in regards to the AXIS Access Control integration.
Netgenium technology partnership
Success for Wavestore in South America
Shashi K. Yadav Q&A interview on Wavestore
Netgenium’s access control, intelligent audio and lighting control solutions and Wavestore’s VMS software have been successfully integrated as a result of this established technology partnership. “Wavestore is increasingly being specified for projects where the client is looking for a video management system that can facilitate the integration of a wide range of technologies to provide a secure and operationally efficient environment,” said Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore. “We will be looking to work alongside Netgenium to deliver a seamless integrated network solution which delivers so much more than what might normally be expected from a video surveillance system.”
Two recent successful exhibitions in South America provided excellent opportunities for Wavestore to demonstrate to installers and systems integrators what makes Wavestore stand out from its competitors. Wavestore’s VMS software attracted considerable interest at both the Safety Expo Show which took place in Guayaquil, Ecuador and the Efficiency, Security and Safety International Security Fair (ESS), in Bogota, Colombia.
If you understand Spanish, click ‘find out more’ to hear what Wavestore’s Milton Acosta had to say when interviewed in Colombia by Maxima Seguridad TV.
Shashi K. Yadav, who was recruited to the role of Business Development Manager for the Indian Subcontinent for Wavestore in June 2014, has provided an insight into why he decided to embark on a career with Wavestore and why he believes the company can achieve a significant market share in the Indian Subcontinent.
“I am not aware of any other VMS manufacturer that has such an excellent working relationship with so many technology partners. As a result of this, Wavestore can help clients achieve a seamless integrated solution, regardless of the size or complexity of the project,” said Shashi K. Yadav.
