Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Marriott Royal Bristol hotel in Bristol – with a networking dinner on the Monday night.
There are approximately 1.85 million CCTV cameras in the UK, with five per cent of those owned by local authorities, ten per cent on public transport and the balance privately owned. It’s a significant investment in cameras and recording equipment which, without doubt, helps prevent and solve crime in hundreds of thousands of cases every year.
But what are the roadblocks to making even more effective use of CCTV? Is technology the answer or should we be focusing more attention on the proactive and post-event analysis of CCTV images?
Those are the questions we will be asking at the next Global MSC Seminar and Exhibition, to be held on Tuesday 12th of November 2013 at the Marriott Royal Bristol hotel in the historic port city of Bristol.
The theme of the seminar will be: Making the most of CCTV.
We’ll be looking at a number of cutting edge topics in video surveillance, counter terrorism and public safety with a panel of eminent and knowledgeable speakers who will be certain to give you food for thought.
Unlike other events, we will be looking at the issues from an international perspective, not just a domestic angle.
Meanwhile, in the exhibition area, dozens of companies will be showing their latest equipment and services and answering any questions you might have, including how to get best value from your security systems.
Derek Maltby, managing director of Global MSC Security, says, “Global MSC has delivered a number of successful events over the years which other suppliers are trying to copy, but we always like to deliver above and beyond expectations. Our response with this event will be to go more international, which is why we have developed our links with Security Media Publishing, publishers of SecurityNewsDesk.com, who can deliver the international market.”
Tom Reeve, editorial director of Security Media Publishing, says, “We’ve watched the success of Global MSC events over the years and we’ve seen others try to mirror them, but Global MSC has a unique approach that can’t be easily copied. It’s one that fits with our approach of thinking beyond the obvious.”
Let’s make the most of our considerable investment in CCTV – join us for this exciting seminar on 12 November in Bristol and, if you can, the networking dinner on the 11th.
