RoSPA awards manager David Rawlins emphasised how ‘organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition’.

He added: “Regent has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award. ”

The Gold Award is the ultimate accolade available from RoSPA, which not solely measures accident records but evaluates health and safety management systems, leadership and workforce involvement.

Regent Security Director of Operations, Gary Sheffield, said: “This Award pays testimony to the focus made by all at Regent on looking after one another, and our customers. ”

It was a notably good day in Birmingham for Regent Samsic: its Cleaning Division also picked up a Gold Award from RoSPA for occupational health and safety.
