Access solutions specialist BPT Security Systems Ltd. has launched a new addition to its X1 two wire video entry system: the Lithos colour video entry panel with integral intercom.
Designed for use on single dwellings or small apartment blocks, Lithos comes with the option of one, two or four push buttons, which are quick and easy to replace without the need to remove the external surround. An intercom function is incorporated into Lithos, without the need for a supplementary power supply, making the panel quick and easy to fit.
With its slim, elegant design, finished in brushed stainless steel, Lithos combines aesthetic appeal with superb video quality, an excellent field of vision and durability (it has an IP45 rating).
Lithos is compatible with all BPT monitors, including the new Mitho, and is also available in kit format complete with entry panel, power supply and one of three different monitors.
Lithos has been designed for use with BPT’s X1, a cost-effective door entry system designed to allow transmission of all data signals AND power supply on a single non-polarized twisted pair. Signals include telephone, audio, video and controls (door-lock release, stair light, auxiliary service, call-timer, self- connection to entry panel and sequential switching between entry panels), all of which can be transferred without any loss of quality.Such a design makes for incredible ease and speed of installation, providing some very real cost savings.
