Redvision, manufacturer of the rugged X-SERIES™ PTZ and dome cameras, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Alexander as Regional Sales Manager for the North of the UK.

Andy brings 15 years of CCTV industry experience in both manufacturing and installation companies to his new role, alongside a dynamic, personable approach. At Video Controls, acquired by Honeywell, Andy had sales administration and product specification responsibility. He then gained hands on installation experience at BDI CCTV, followed by sales management expertise with manufacturer 360 Vision Technology.

Andy explains why he was attracted to his new post, “Redvision is the rugged PTZ dome market-leader in the UK with a high-quality product range and an excellent reputation. The fact Redvision designs, builds and supports its products in the UK is important to me, as it results in an exceptional service to customers. I am pleased to be part of such a successful, rapidly growing company and look forward to playing my part in its future expansion.”

Andy, who has been a semi-professional footballer, football manager and professional tennis coach, brings energy, team playing experience and a high level of motivation to his new role.

Paul Hucker, MD at Redvision, added, “Andy’s appointment is great news for Redvision. He has a comprehensive understanding of analogue and IP CCTV products. This is supported by his manufacturing and installation experience and detailed knowledge of the rugged dome market. He understands the needs of security installers and integrators, so is ideal for supporting our customers as we launch our new IP X-SERIES™ range over summer.

“Andy has the tenacity and drive to deliver excellent growth for Redvision. We welcome Andy into the Redvision team and wish him well in his new role.”
