ASSA showcases CLIQ at National Housing Federation

ASSA, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, will be demonstrating the benefits of its CLIQ® Remote range for void properties at The National Housing Federation’s Annual Conference and Housing Exhibition.

Designed for housing professionals, the long running exhibition will be held from 21st to 22nd September at the ICC in Birmingham. ASSA, who can be found on stand 42, will be showcasing its CLIQ range for the first time at the leading housing show.

It’s intelligent key and cylinder solution, CLIQ® Remote, has recently had success in the social housing market, notably in the securing of void properties. The system, which allows controlled key and access management without the complexity or cost of a hard wired system, is proving popular thanks to its efficiency and enhanced security features.

Easy to install and low maintenance, ASSA’s CLIQ range has the functionality to create time defined user keys, allowing access for a specified period of time, outside of these time parameters access would be denied to the properties. This feature is useful for maintenance workers who may need to access properties outside normal opening hours.

Speaking on its first time attendance at the Housing Exhibition, Simon Wilson, National Sales Manager – CLIQ Remote, at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, said:

“CLIQ® Remote is a solution currently being used on social housing developments to improve security and protect empty buildings’ assets, whilst using budgets more efficiently. One such case has seen a time saving of approximately 40 hours per week and eliminating the need for shared keys.”

“Crimes against empty properties are on the increase, partly due the rising value of metal and thefts of fixtures and fittings.”

“The management of keys for access is not only time consuming, but also labour intensive and the associated costs can become very high. CLIQ® Remote enables easy key management and helps alleviate these high associated costs, whilst delivering a 100% key controlled environment. Improving security on a void property also helps keep the neighbouring environment in good condition – meaning happy and healthy neighbourhoods.”

“We look forward to meeting the 2,000 plus housing professionals at this year’s show and hope to demonstrate the advantages that CLIQ® Remote can bring to their properties.”
